HERITAGE
The first trace of rum distillation dates back to 1651 in Barbados. More than four centuries later Plantation strives to perfect the long-held traditions of the process. The goal is to grasp every clue about the rum-making culture.

CONTINENTAL MATURING
"One nurtures a rum as one nurtures a child,” explains Alexandre Gabriel on the care devoted to the rums of Plantation.

The 1990s see Alexandre Gabriel combing the Caribbean in search of the best rums of the region. Plantation is born: an artisanal range of rums from the great terroirs of the tropics.
